The toaster is perhaps the most important member of the development team--it's the logo. Why a toaster for the logo, you ask? Well, it's simple. Guifications 3 is a toaster-style popup framework, which means the notifications pop up like a slice of bread pops up from a toaster. The toaster symbolizes the popups.

OK, sure, technically the toaster isn't part of the development team, but its presence is important nonetheless.
